Well, now that we’re into the last week my GO train colleagues (as usual, the GO Girls, Sergeant Al and Mel) are seating themselves by affiliation (actually, the Liberals are threatening to sit elsewhere)…
… like maybe a different train car (sounds like some of the real Liberal candidates… they don’t want to play nice and would rather play quietly somewhere else, like sabotaging their own campaigns because they’d rather not spend the years in Opposition).
In the rest of Brampton it’s hard to get an accurate pulse. Almost no one will commit by putting a sign on their lawn (and if they do, it’s more of a tit-for-tat, you put up a Tory sign, they put up a Liberal one… and that’s that — two signs for the street, everything in balance). My last neighbourhood in Toronto, by way of contrast, is a crowded field of orange (hard to believe I’m saying this: go Peggy Nash! Whip your NDP campaign into shape and kick Sarmite Bulte’s ass!).
Another week, another growing list of Liberal scandals, backfiring attack ads, and faltering polls still to com!
